- The project involves cutting brush and hardwoods on 264 acres of forest land in the Umpqua Resource Area, Coos Bay District BLM in Coos and Douglas Counties, Oregon. Estimated start work date is May 23, 2011. This solicitation allows for increased quantities not to exceed 20 percent of the original contract price. Bonds are not required. Liability insurance is required after award. This solicitation will be posted electronically at www.FedConnect.net. Paper copies are no longer available. Estimated issue date is March 25, 2011. Contractors are reminded to read the Solicitation first, and then contact the BLM Coos Bay District Office to pay a deposit to obtain keys for gates to view the units. This solicitation is set aside for small business concerns.
