- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F11PS000495 and is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC 05-50) and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). This procurement is not set-aside and issued for full and open competition. The applicable NAICS classification code is 424410 with size standard of 100 employees and PSC code is 8940. SPECIFICATIONSThe U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is requesting quotes for groceries for the M/V Tiglax FY 2011 field season. For your convenience, a full listing of the groceries is provided at: http://www.fws.gov/filedownloads/ftp_vandenc/F11PS00295-Tiglax%20Groceries/ Packaging and Delivery Instructions:Groceries must be palletized and shrink wrapped. Each pallet must not exceed 4 ft. tall. Delivery will be made to the State Ferry Dock in Homer, Alaska on May 16, 2011. Special Notes:Offerors must quote all items. If the offeror proposes substitutions in brand or quantity, the substitutions must be itemized. These substitutions must be approved by the ship's cook due to allergy concerns and the limited storage space of all items on the vessel. There is some flexibility with regards to retail packaging vs. wholesale packaging. LINE ITEMSPlease provide a detailed price schedule for the following items: Line Item 001: All groceries items, which includes meats, frozen veggies, ice cream, breads, dry goods, beverages, soda, dairy, paper products, and produce. 1.0 Lump Sum $______________ DELIVERYDelivery date is no later than May 16, 2011 to State Ferry Dock in Homer, Alaska.
