- The National Cemetery Administration is soliciting offers under Solicitation No. VA-786-11-RP-0166 for the following service: The intent of an awarded contract shall be to renovate and level ground surface, re-establish turf with new sod, and clean headstones in five burial sections at Camp Nelson National Cemetery, Nicholasville, KY. The Contractor will complete all surface renovation and sod laying work by May 17, 2011, and all headstone cleaning by May 24, 2011, subject to all terms, conditions, provisions, and schedules of the contract. Contractor shall furnish all equipment, parts, materials, supplies, labor and supervision necessary and incidental to the raising, realigning, resetting of upright headstones, and renovation of associated turf at the Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Work shall be performed in strict accordance with all terms, conditions, specifications, schedules and drawings. In conjunction with raising, realigning, and resetting each upright headstone, the Contractor is required to remove each headstone / marker and modify stone sockets to meet specifications provided in this contract. Performance shall be in accordance with the requirements, conditions, terms and representations contained in this solicitation, any pertinent OSHA Occupational and Safety regulations, and any State and/or local regulations, laws and codes. This acquisition is 100% set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The NAICS Code is 5617301. Size standard is $7 Million. Electronic solicitations will be available for download from http://www.fbo.gov on or about March 28, 2011. Responses to the solicitation are due on or about 2:00 P.M. on April 11, 2011. Any amendments to the solicitation will also be available at www.fbo.gov. Offerors are advised they are responsible for obtaining any amendments.
