- SCOPE OF WORK 1.0 SCOPE 1.0 Make needed repairs to hangar doors on Building 1106, to include weather seals, safety edge devices, pass door limit switch, gear box drive chain, grease all bearings, and test operation. 1.1 All labor, materials, pickup and return delivery will be done by the Contractor. 1.2 Performance Period/Location: 1.2.1 USCG Air Station Sacramento, 6037 Price Ave, McClellan, CA 95652 1.2.2 Work is to be accomplished on weekdays between the hours of 7:00am and 5:00pm. 1.3 Contracting Officer Technical Representative (COTR): 1.3.1 CPO Bradley Richardson 1.3.2 bradley.m.richardson@uscg.mil 1.3.3 Office: 916-643-7645 1.4 Additional Coast Guard Contact: 1.4.1 DC2 Brian Tingey 1.4.2 brian.c.tingey@uscg.mil 1.4.3 Office: 916-643-7684 1.4.4 Mobile: 502-314-2544 1.5 Contractor Contact Information: See the attachments 1.5.1 Company Name: 1.5.2 Contact Name: 1.5.3 Telephone: 1.5.4 FAX: 1.6 Coordinate all inspections with the designated Coast Guard Contact to minimize production delay. 1.7 Contractor shall be responsible for cleanup and disposal of removed parts and any waste generated from the work performed. 1.8 Contractor shall warranty all parts and labor supplied. This warranty shall be specified in the submitted bid. 4.1 The Contractor shall submit a Condition Found Report noting any discrepancies with interferences. 4.2 The Contractor shall move/or protect all interferences during the project. 4.3 All interferences that are removed shall be tagged to facilitate proper reinstallation at new location. 4.4 Ensure that all removed equipment is kept in a clean, and moved to new dry protected location. 4.5 Obtain verification from the Government Contact for the protective measures taken for equipment not removed. 5.0 SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS AND REQUIREMENTS 5.1 North Doors 5.1.1 Replace damaged and/or missing 1/8" flat rubber weather seal as needed. Approximately 100 feet. 5.1.2 Grease and lube all bearings 5.1.3 Test for operation 5.2 South Doors 5.2.1 Replace damaged and/or missing 1/8" flat rubber weather seal as needed. Approximately 100 feet. 5.2.2 Install (2) new safety edge devices with mounting channels 5.2.3 Replace damaged junction box and cover 5.2.4 Install new physical limit switch on pass door 5.2.5 Install new surface mount door closer on pass door 5.2.6 Replace gear box drive chain 5.2.7 Grease and lube all bearings 5.2.8 Test for proper operation 5.3 Security Requirements: Due to heightened Security at USCG Bases all Persons must have proper identification, proof of insurance for all vehicles, and are Subject to Search. Time spent undergoing Entrance to base will not be considered a Government Delay of Work or Differing Site Conditions. 5.4 Proper Insurance: Awardees will provide proof of proper insurance coverage as per: (FAR 52.228-3, FAR 52.228-5 and TAR 1252.217-76). 5.5 Invoices should be mailed to Block 18a on first page and one copy to the COTR listed in SOW para 1.3.1 Please send all quotes to Christopher Bahn at Christopher.A.Bahn@USCG.mil For questions please call 916 643 7671.
