- Job Description: The projects are for small construction renovations (new work, additions, alterations, maintenance and repairs) which may involve various trades (electrical, mechanical, plumbing, etc.) located at Sierra Army Depot. We are looking for HUBZone contractors with a minimum of five years experience primarily in concrete as well as a working knowledge on all other trades. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction and the small business size standard by NAICS is $33.5M. The aggregate not-to-exceed amount is $5M or five years (whichever comes first). There are no option periods. Contractors must be able to demonstrate through past performance their ability to provide the required manpower and management to handle several projects at once. This solicitation is one of three that will be issued. The intent is to award three separate small dollar renovation IDIQ contracts for future Sierra Army Depot projects, each supporting primarily a specific trade; HVAC, electrical, or concrete. The three solicitations are: W91238-11-R-0012 set-aside for SDVOSB; W91238-11-R-0015 set-aside for 8(a); and W91238-11-R-0014 set-aside for HUBZone contractors. Acquisition Information: This acquisition is proceeding as a Request for Proposal (RFP) set-aside for HUBZone. The task orders generally range from $5-$150K. Period of Performance for Construction is TBD per Task Order. This Procurement will be conducted under FSC CODE: Z199, SIC CODE: TBD, NAICS Code: 236220. It is anticipated that the RFP will be issued on or about April 7, 2011, for downloading at the Government's website at http://www.fbo.gov/. No paper copies will be issued. The specific date and time will be identified in the solicitation. OFFERORS ARE ADVISED THAT THIS PROJECT MAY BE DELAYED, CANCELED OR REVISED AT ANY TIME DURING THE SOLICITATION, SELECTION, EVALUATION, NEGOTIATION AND/OR FINAL AWARD PROCESS. ORDERING SOLICITATION: Plans and specifications will NOT be provided in hard paper copy or CD-ROM format. The solicitation and all amendments for this acquisition will be posted on a secure Government website known as FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov) once the RFP is issued. Viewing/downloading documents from FedBizOpps will require prior registration in Central Contractor Registration (www.ccr.gov). If you are a first-time FedBizOpps user, you will also be required to register in FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov) before accessing the RFP documents. To register, click on the Register Now button in the Vendors Block and follow the instructions.
