- Obtain waste wood recycling services by means of a Fixed Price/Indefinite Quantity Type contract. Work shall be in accordance with the specifications that will be provided with the solicitation package. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and supervision as necessary to receive untreated waste wood at the contractor ™s facility from the entire NAVFAC mid-lant tidewater region and recycle properly and safely. The NAICS code for this procurement is 562998 with a small business size standard of $7 million. This solicitation will be issued as 100% small business set-aside. The period of performance is a base of one year and 2 one year options periods. This office estimates the solicitation will be available by 04 Apr 2011. In accordance with FAR 5.102(d), all solicitations will be limited to electronic medium using Adobe Acrobat (pdf) file format. The address for downloading from the INTERNET is https://neco.navy.mil. Downloading form the INTERNET is free of charge; however some specifications may take a considerable amount of time to download. All prospective offerors are encouraged to register for the solicitation prior to downloading from the NECO website. Notification of any changes to this solicitation (amendments) shall be made from the NECO website. Official Plan Holders list will be maintained and can be printed from the website. All contractors are required to register in the Department of Defense (DOD) Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. Failure to register in the CCR makes an offeror ineligible for award of DOD contractors. Contractor might be placed on EMALL. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency.
