- Synopsis The USDA Forest Service, Ouachita Job Corp Service Center is a residential, educational and vocational training facility for student's ages 16 to 25 years of age. This project is located at the Ouachita Job Corps CCC is approximately 10 miles West of Hot Springs, Arkansas, on Highway 270 West. Turn right on Old Bear Rd. Drive 3-1/2 miles, staying on paved road. Follow the signs, road will end at the entrance to the Center. The mission of the Job Corps is to provide academic, vocational and life learning skills to youths at-risk. The Ouachita Job Corps Center has a requirement for roof rehabilitation projects. Set-aside Status, This is a Full and Open competition.. The Contractor shall be required to (a) commence work under this contract within 10 calendar days after the date the Contractor receives the notice to proceed, (b) prosecute the work diligently, and (c) complete the entire work ready for use not later than 90 days after the notice to proceed. The time stated for completion shall include final cleanup of the premises and completion of the punch list as submitted by the COR. Base bid item: Bid Item No. 1 - Women's Dorm #48 Roof Rehab Bid Item No. 2 - Vocational Bldg #09 Roof Rehab Base Bid Item No. 3 - OEP/Vocational Bldg #07 Roof Rehab Optional bid items include: Optional Item No. 4 - Women's Dorm Bldg #48 Roof Drainage System Optional Item No. 5 - Vocational Bldg #09 Roof Drainage Systems Optional Item No. 6 - Urban Forestry Shop Ceiling Rehab Bldg #07 Contractor must bid on all items both base and all three options. Prior to award the contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database located at http://www.ccr.gov. The NAICS code for this project is 238160 and the small business size standard is $14 million. All responsible sources that meet the outlined criteria may submit a proposal. The Government plans to award a firm fixed price contract to complete this requirement. A contract will be awarded with or without discussions resulting from the solicitation to the responsible offeror whose proposal conforms to the solicitation that will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors as outlined in the solicitation considered. Labor, services, transportation, insurance, permits and license/certifications and all other materials as required will be provided by the Contractor to complete the work as described (except for Government-furnished property or facilities as outlined in the solicitation.) The solicitation will be posted to this website-FedBizOpps-for downloading and will provide all necessary information for offerors to prepare and submit a proposal. Responses to the solicitation must be received by close of business, as indicated in the solicitation. Faxes will not be accepted.
