- Region 3, U.S. Fish and Wildlife ServiceRequest for QuoteSolicitation No. F11PS00430 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for delivery of riprap stone prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Request for Quotations (RFQ) are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Statement of Work: A quantity of 1,350 Tons of Riprap stone ranging in size of 12" to 18" shall be delivered to the Borrow Pond riprap storage area located at the Shiawassee National Wildlife Refuge, 6975 Mower Road, Saginaw, Michigan, as directed by the local office representative. The local contact at the Refuge is Mr. Edward DeVries at (989) 777-5930. Proposals will be evaluated on the basis of total cost (all or nothing). Please include delivery in your price. Proposals with fuel surcharge formals will not be accepted. The local refuge contact will coordinate with the supplier to develop a delivery schedule. Deliveries shall be between July 11, 2011 thru July 22, 2011. Material Requirements: 2003, MIDOT: "Standard Specifications for Construction", Section 916, Erosion Control Materials, 916.01(C), 12"-18". Invoices are to be submitted to the Shiawassee National Wildlife Refuge after delivery is accepted. Weight tickets must be provided with invoices to verify load. Delivery terms are FOB destination. (b) The permissible variation shall be limited to: 10 Percent increase, 10 Percent decrease. This increase or decrease shall apply to the total contract quantity of 1,350 tons.
