- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to make a single award for the provision of Comprehensive Medical Services for the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) in Terminal Island, California. Offerors are encouraged to submit comprehensive proposals providing all listed requirements. Offerors who propose less will be evaluated accordingly. Services to be provided shall include inpatient/outpatient facility services, inpatient/outpatient physician services, and outpatient institution services. The contract type is an indefinite delivery/requirements type contract with firm-fixed unit pricing. The contract shall consist of a Base Period and four 12-month Option Periods for renewal. The estimated quantities for the Base Period and all Option Periods are as follows: 400 Inpatient Days (Estimated); 450 Outpatient Visits (Estimated); Outpatient Institution Services / Cardiologist - Visit Duration: 4 Hours (Approximate), Visit Quantity 12 per contract year (Estimated); Outpatient Institution Services / Dermatologist - Visit Duration: 4 Hours (Approximate), Visit Quantity 6 per contract year (Estimated); Outpatient Institution Services / Gastroenterologist - Visit Duration: 4 Hours (Approximate), Visit Quantity 12 per contract year (Estimated); Outpatient Institution Services / General Surgeon - Visit Duration: 4 Hours (Approximate), Visit Quantity 12 per contract year (Estimated); Outpatient Institution Services / Nephrologist - Visit Duration: 4 Hours (Approximate), Visit Quantity 6 per contract year (Estimated); Outpatient Institution Services / Neurologist - Visit Duration: 4 Hours (Approximate), Visit Quantity 12 per contract year (Estimated); Outpatient Institution Services / Ophthalmologist - Visit Duration: 4 Hours (Approximate), Visit Quantity 12 per contract year (Estimated); Outpatient Institution Services / Orthopedic Surgeon - Visit Duration: 4 Hours (Approximate), Visit Quantity 24 per contract year (Estimated); Outpatient Institution Services / Podiatrist - Visit Duration: 4 Hours (Approximate), Visit Quantity 6 per contract year (Estimated); Outpatient Institution Services / Optometrist - Session Duration: 8 Hours, Session Quantity 24 per contract year (Estimated); Outpatient Institution Services / Pathologist - Session Duration: 1 Hour, Session Quantity 12 per contract year (Estimated). The solicitation will be made available on/or about May 2, 2011 and will be distributed solely through the General Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/.
