- The Rock Island District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, is seeking qualified businesses that can provide products that meet the Product Description below in the event of a flood emergency within the Rock Island District. NO AWARD will be made from this Sources Sought Notice. Particularly, the purpose of this NOTICE is to gain knowledge of potential sources that have the ability to provide quality products, often with little notice and lead time in the event of a flood emergency. This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: - Polyethylene Film shall conform to ASTM D 4397-02. - Polyethylene film shall be a minimum of 8 mils. in thickness, 20 feet in width, and 100 feet in length. - Prefer to be black in color. - The Polyethylene rolls shall be individuality boxed. - The boxes shall be on pallets that are triple shrink wrapped and banded. SUBMISSION DETAILS: All interested, responsive and responsible contractors are encouraged to participate in this market research. Participants should submit a Statement of Capability (SOC) illustrating the product available as stated in the product description. Interested contractors must be registered in Central Contractor Registration, www.ccr.gov. Email submissions are required. Please include the following information in your response: - Company name, address, email, phone number, CCR cage code, and point of contact. - If available, a 24/7 Point of Contact to include phone number and email. - Description of Products Available. - Delivery lead time. This is NOT a request for proposals or quotes.
