Description
The government intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price type contract for Hotel Services for the Near East South Asia (NESA) Center for Strategic Studies, Washington, DC in accordance with the information in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13.104 Simplified Acquisition Procedures, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice, in support of the Counter Terrorism Executive Seminar. The course will be held in the Washington DC metropolitan area. The requirement includes lodging for visiting foreign national students with identical efficiency/studio style layout, separate work space with desk, drawers and lighting; high speed internet hook-up; full kitchen facilities with full size refrigerator, oven, range, microwave, cabinets stocked with dishes, silverware, cups, pots and pans; regularly scheduled housekeeping services. S huttle bus/vans should be available to the Ronald Reagan National Airport. Breakfast shall be included and s taff/program manager should be aware of dietary requirements of participants. The participants cannot have any pork products or alcohol prepared/cooked in foods or located on their buffet. Participants shall have access to on premises laundry and recreation facilities. Requirements for the Washington DC metropolitan area: Lodging provided under this order will be near the Pentagon City location and near or adjacent to a major shopping area, metro and close to the NESA Center, which is located in the U.S. Coast Guard Headquarters, 2100 Second Street SW, Suite 4308, and Washington, DC. For Sunday, April 3, 2011 and Tuesday, April 19, 2011, the requirement is a total of 15-Studio Rooms to accommodate early arrivals and late departures. From Monday, April 4, 2011 through Monday April 18, 2011 (15 evenings). Estimated number of rooms is 40-Studio Rooms for a total of 600 room nights. A room is requested to host a Welcome Reception to be held on April 3, 2011 requiring Desserts and Hors d' oeuvres from a selected menu and a Potluck Dinner scheduled for April 18, 2011 requiring Juice Bar/Beverages and serving utensils.
