- The Southern Regional Contracting Office-West, Brooke Army Medical Center intends to award a sole source contract to Biomet Inc. for the purchase of Curvtek Cartridges. These Curvtek cartridges are for the aspriation of bone marrow, autologous blood, plasma or other fluids. The system supports and facilitates the delivery of allograft, autograft, or synthetic bone graft materials to a surgical site, as well as, premixing of bone graft materials with the aspirate. These cartridges enables Darnall Army Community Hospital to maintain and continue to provide superior healthcare services to the warfighter and patients. These instruments are integrated parts of a government-owned system. Salient characteristics of the of the Curvtek cartridges Requirement: -Ability to simultaneously drive two connecting holes in bone to allow a surgeon the option to connect two adjacent bone segments with suture -Ability to perform soft tissue re-attachment -Ability to create curved transosseous tunnels -Ability to support suture tie-downs NOTE: INTERESTED VENDORS, PLEASE RESPOND TO THIS NOTICE ON OR BEFORE 30 MARCH 2011, 12:00PM, CST.
