- THIS AMENDMENT IS BEING ISSUED TO CHANGE THE REQUIRED QUANTITY FROM 18 EACH TO 19 EACH. PR 0040598414. This solicitation will contain NSN 5820-01-417-6304, Transmitter/receiver, Radio. Request for Proposal SPM4A6-11-R-1285, will be solicited for award of a Firm Fixed Priced Contract under FAR Part 12 for Commercial Acquisitions. This NSN is a commercial, part numbered item and the approved source is CAGE 1VPW8, P/N 01-P36744M003. This item has a critical application. Solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis utilizing other than full and open competitive procedures. The purchase request quantity is 19 Each. Quantity variance is plus/minus 0%. Delivery: FOB Destination, Inspection and Acceptance at Destination. The required delivery is 38 DARO. This is not a Critical Safety Item (CSI) per SAP interrogation on March 09, 2011. The final contract award decision will be based upon a combination of price and past performance. Subcontracting plan is not required. EEO clearance is not required as the dollar threshold has not been met. Certified Cost or Pricing data is not required as this is a commercial item. Progress Payments are not included as the conditions at FAR 32.501-2(c) have not been met. Synopsis was posted to Federal Business Opportunities on March 09, 2011. The solicitation issue date is March 24, 2011. The closing date is April 14, 2011. The estimated award date is May 13, 2011.
