Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Privatized Corrections Contracting Office, Washington, D.C. is seeking quotes from sources having the ability to provide community-based outpatient Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services. The contractors will provide services within a ten mile radius of the US Post Office located at 2105 East Cook Street, Springfield, Illinois 62703. Performance periods under this contract will be for a one year base period to begin on July 1, 2011 with four (4) one-year option renewal periods with services ending (if all options are renewed) on June 30, 2016. The services required for this contract include a Base Year, Option Year One, Option Year Two, Option Year Three, and Option Year Four respectively. The Following services are required and may be sub-contracted to another licensed contractor. The requirements for Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment and Mental Health Services for male and female Federal offenders include: Base Year: Estimated number of inmates = 20 Substance Abuse Treatment Services: Intake Assessment and Report (one per inmate) for 15 inmates = 15 assessments Individual Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 48 units (per inmate) x 15 = 720 units Group Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 72 units (per inmate) x 15 = 1,080 units Family Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 16 units (per inmate) x 2 = 32 units Mental Health Treatment Services: Mental Health Intake and Assessment & Report (one per inmate) for 5 inmates = 5 units Medication Monitoring (1 units per inmate) for 3 inmates = 3 monitoring units Mental Health Individual Counseling (30 minutes =1 unit) 48 units per inmate for 5 inmates = 240 units Mental Health Group Counseling (30 minutes =1 unit) 72 units per inmate for 5 inmates = 360 units Psychological Evaluation & Report (one Master's Required. The request for proposal will be available on or after March 28, 2011 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http: //www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the quotation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including quotation amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. The estimated closing date is on or about April 21, 2011. Faith-Based and Community -Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. This requirement is unrestricted. The BOP anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price contract. All responsible business concerns may submit a quote which will be considered by this agency.
