- This is notice of a requirement to perform all work required to aerially apply pesticides for vegetation control on 1,743 acres of the Fort Benning Military Reservation. Areas are dispersed throughout the 182,000 acre reservation. The purpose of this contract is to control undesired vegetation to facilitate the reforestation of longleaf pine seedlings and for the control of unwanted species. The Contractor shall be required to utilize Differentially Corrected Global Position System (DGPS) for electronic navigation. The system must be capable of utilizing ESRI ArcGIS or ArcINFO files created by government and given to Contractor on a DVD, CD ROM or USB flash drive. The Contractor shall also be required to use a computerized spray rate control module.
