- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division intends to solicit Undersea Systems International, Inc, 3133 W Harvard St, Santa Ana, CA, 92704 on a sole source basis for source controlled EMA-MK24-SM Ear/Mic Assemblies. These MK24 Ear/Mic assemblies will be utilized in existing systems. These assemblies have been through operational and technical evaluation. Once a system is certified, using alternate equipment would prove costly to the government and the mission. Any variance in the equipment used in a certified system would jeopardize the certification of the system and ultimately the mission. Acquisition of the MK24 Ear/Mic assemblies from Undersea Systems International provides commonality between systems and reduces integration cost. Therefore, it is in the Government ™s best interest to purchase these MK24 Ear/Mic assemblies from Undersea Systems International. Responsible sources may submit a response for consideration to the agency point of contact at: tim.e.reed1@navy.mil. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. These units will be delivered to the Naval Support Activity “ Panama City, Receiving Officer, Building 100, 110 Vernon Avenue, Panama City Beach, FL 32407. NAICS CODE: 334419
