- Solicitation number H92239-11-T-0008 The United States Special Operation Command (USASOC) has a requirement for training in Off Road driving. The contractor shall provide all instructors, training areas, training material, vehicles and supplies not otherwise identified as Government furnished. The contractor shall train students for off road tactical vehicles found in many Third World Countries and how to deal with the different types of terrain found in those countries. The contractor needs to provide an equal representation of left and right hand drive vehicles, as well as automatic and manual transmissions. Vehicle models to be used during the training include, but are not limited to, those found in Third World Countries such as Toyota Land Cruisers 120, 80, 70, 60 series in rightand left hand drive, Land Rovers Defenders 90 right and left hand drive, and Toyota HILUX pickup trucks right and left hand drive. Full specifications will be detailed in the solicitation. The solicitation number is H92239-11-T-0008 and will be issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). USASOC intends to award on a competitive basis, using simplified acquisition procedures. This procurement is set aside 100% for small business. The anticipated NAICS code is 611692 with a size standard of $7.0. Interested vendors shall be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database prior to award of a contract. Offerors will be required to complete either a paper copy of the Representations and Certifications or may complete them online at http://orca.bpn.gov) in responding to this requirement. This acquisition is being conducted under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 regarding the acquisition of commercial items. Offerors are responsible for routinely checking this web-site for any possible solicitation amendments that may be issued. No individual notification of any amendment will be provided. Proposal due date and time will be included in the solicitation. The purpose of this amendment is to post the solicitation.
