- This is a sources sought notice for the following commercial service: Description of Services. The contractor shall provide all services, materials, labor, and equipment to clean, repair, and paint two (2) F-102 aircraft on static display at Volk Field Combat Readiness Training Center, Camp Douglas, Wisconsin, in accordance with this Statement of Work (SOW). Contract award is expected by 15 April 2011 and initial contract performance is to begin as soon as possible following award. Nest removal and bird-proofing must be completed as soon as possible after award, as work will not be permitted on aircraft that contain nesting birds. The contractor shall comply with all Base Bio-Environmental, OSHA, EPA and all other guidelines pertinent to the outdoor preparation and painting of all aircraft, to include collection and disposal of waste materials. AFI 32-7086 applies in performance of this contract. This sources sought notice is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only notice; a written solicitation will not be issued. A list of interested vendors will be compiled and a site visit has been scheduled for 16 March 2011. All firms or individuals responding must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). This procurement is being issued as 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-14 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. North American Industrial Classification Standard 488190, Size Standard, $7,000,000, applies to this procurement.
