- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD (FAR 5.101)-The Bureau of Indian Affairs, Office of Justice Services intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price contract to the University of New Mexico, Health Sciences Center, NAICS 621511. The total value of this intended award is less than the simplified acquisition threshold. Price quotes are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement will be made pursuant to simplified acquisition procedures and Other than Full and Open Competition authorized by FAR 6.302-1. This notice is neither a request for proposals, nor a solicitation for offers. Any other interested organization/vendor must submit a written statement of their capabilities and qualifications to fulfill this requirement to the identified point of contact by 4:00 p.m. (Mountain Standard Time), March 28, 2011. Faxed and emailed statements are preferred. The sender shall accept full responsibility to ensure complete transmission and timely receipt. Any such statement of capabilities and qualifications received by the deadline will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to proceed with this procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
