- Description
- The VAMC, Walla Walla, intends to award a firm fixed price design-build contract for the design and construction of a new Specialty Care Clinic. This is not a solicitation. The solicitation will be issued via FedBizOpps on or about April 15, 2011. In accordance with P.L. 109-461, 38 U.S.C. Section 8127, the procurement will be 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). SDVOSB firms must be listed in www.vetbiz.gov and must have the certified veteran enterprise (CVE) designation. The clinic will be 20,700 gross square feet and will house audiology, dental and optometry services. The successful contractor will be required to design and construct the entire facility and all associated systems and utilities. The construction work will consist of, but not be limited to, site preparation, foundation, structural work, mechanical, electrical and all other systems typically included in this type of facility, exterior and interior finishes, roofing, fencing and some landscaping. All responsible SDVOSB firms that are primarily engaged in this type of work are encouraged to submit a proposal in accordance with the terms, conditions and specification of the solicitation.
