- The Naval Inventory Control Point (NAVICP) and the Fleet Numerical Meteorology and Oceanography Center (FNMOC) are requesting a quote for DataDirect Networks (DDN) hardware. This acquisition is being conducted in accordance with the provisions of FAR 13.5, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This is a BRAND NAME requirement; anything other than brand name specific will not be considered acceptable. This acquisition is unrestricted. The NAICS Code associated with this purchase is 334112, Computer Storage Device Manufacturing. Please provide an open market quote and all pertinent information needed to issue an order. Vendors must be a DDN AUTHORIZED distributor / reseller and quote all items to be considered for award. QUOTES MUST BE VALID FOR 30 DAYS. A firm fixed price purchase order will be issued based on the lowest priced technically acceptable quote. Vendors should provide Remit To address, if applicable. The quote must be emailed to NAVICP Code 0271 at Ryan.McGowan@navy.mil. For further information regarding this RFQ, contact Ryan McGowan, Contract Specialist at phone: (717)-605-6476. All quotes are due no later than 12pm EST, Monday, March 21, 2011. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Offerors should provide Remit To address, if applicable; they are also reminded to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items (Jun 08) and 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items (Jun 05) with its offer.
