- Sole Source Intent. The United States Army Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Center-Yuma intends to negotiate a two month extension with a one-month option thru 30 June 2011 to an existing firm-fixed price contract on a sole source basis with Southwestern Maintenance at located at 8211 Santaluz Village Green N. San Diego CA 92127-2522. Southwestern Maintenance currently provides POL Facilities Maintenance and Repair Services to the U.S. Army Installation Management Command (IMCOM) located at the U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), AZ. These non-personal services include operational and preventative maintenance and repair services for POL and fuel dispensing equipment and facilities. The current contract expires on 31 March 2011 and will be extended for a period of two months from 1 April 2011 thru 31 May 2011 with a one-month option through 30 June 2011. The extension is necessary to ensure the continuance of services while allowing adequate time to competitively award a follow-on contract. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS AND NO SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED. If you feel that your firm possesses the ability provide the required services, interested parties may submit a capability statement or white paper which may be used for market research purposes for the follow-on acquisition.
