- Synopsis: The requirement is for the construction and installation of two special pipe ends, which will be used to stop leaks in an existing 18 inch pipe. The project is in Larandia, Colombia. This requirement is being solicited under solicitation number W913FT-11-T-0031. The solicitation will be released on or about 15 March 2010. This construction project is in the country of Colombia, and all projects shall abide by Colombian laws. By submitting a proposal the contractor shall guarantee that they have everything in place to complete the project to satisfaction. All equipment, materials, labor, licenses, warranties, and insurances are the responsibility of the contractor. THIS PROCUREMENT IS UNRESTRICTED. The standard classification NAICS code is 237110 -Water Line and Sewer Line and Related Construction. The period of performance (including the options) is 60 days from issuance of the Notice-to-Proceed. Detailed specifications will be issued with the solicitation. The magnitude of construction for the entire project is between $25,000 and $100,000. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract. Contract award will be made on Low Price Technically Acceptable basis. The solicitation, solicitation amendments, and all questions and answers related to this procurement will be made available via the Internet at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. The solicitation will only be available via the Internet at the above web site. Potential offerors are responsible for accessing the web site. Interested parties must respond to the solicitation in order to be considered for award of any resultant contract. Telephone requests will not be honored and no bidders list will be maintained.
