- Market Research Questionnaire The Federal Bureau of Prisons is conducting market research in compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations, Part 10. Solicitations are not available at this time. Market research is being conducted for the purpose of determining interest and capability of potential sources currently available for this requirement. This survey is for the purpose of obtaining market information pertaining to the requirement only and is not a request for quotations or pricing. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government. The Bureau of Prisons has a future requirement for Mobile MRI/CT/Ultrasound and Mammography Services for the Federal Medical Center (FMC) located in Lexington, Kentucky. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 621512 (Size Standard: $13.5 million). The Government contemplates awarding an indefinite-delivery, requirements type contract with firm-fixed unit pricing. It is anticipated the contract period will consist of a base year from the Date of Award (DOA) through 12 months from the DOA, with the Government's unilateral right to exercise up to four (4) one (1) year option periods. A Government Request for Quote to provide these services may be developed, and a contract may or may not result. All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary. The Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. The Market Survey Questionnaire will be available on or about March 14, 2011 and will be distributed solely through General Service Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitations and/or amendments will be distributed solely through this site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information regarding this acquisition. Faith-Based and Community-Based organizations can submit offers/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. Please note: All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. The response date for the market survey is April 7, 2011. No telephone requests or written requests for the market research survey will be accepted. All responses to the Market Survey Questionnaire may be submitted in hard copy to Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office, U.S. Armed Forces Reserve Complex, 346 Marine Forces Drive, Grand Prairie, Texas 75051, Attn: Kristi Sambrookes.
