- Department of Transportation, Maritime Administration has a requirement for services of JRC approved Technical Service Representative to perform system maintenance and operational checks of the installed shipboard Radar Systems on or about 4/18/2011. The work will be performed onboard the Training Ship the State of Michigan which is located at Traverse City Michigan. Solicitation DTMA94Q2011-0026 will be available at www.fedbizopps.gov on or about 3 /15/2011. This requirement is Set-Aside for Small Businesses under the NAICS Code 8811219 - Navigational instruments (e.g., radar, sonar) repair and maintenance services. Interested small businesses capable of performing this work please contact patricia.etridge@dot.gov and a copy of the solicitation will be provided. A firm fixed price contract is contemplated. Please note that all firms conducting business with MARAD must be registered with the Government Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to award of any contract.
