- ****** ATTENTION********** The Government hereby extends the request for access to the technical library from 11 Mar 11 to 31 Mar 11. The Government shall officially amend the RFP to include this change after all questions are received from interested parties on 22 Mar 11. Section L Para 2.5 is hereby updated to allow requests for access to the technical library until 31 Mar 11. Thank you!! ************************** The 705 Combat Training Squadron (CTS), formerly known as the Theater Air Command and Control Simulation Facility, Kirtland AFB, NM in conjunction with the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC) Contracting Office is seeking Research and Development services support for the Distributed Mission Operations Center (DMOC). A Cost Plus Fixed-Fee (CPFF) five-year contract is contemplated. Attached to this posting is the Request for Proposal (RFP). Offerors are required to submit proposals in accordance with the instructions contained in Sections L and M of the RFP. The response date is 15 Apr 11 at 2pm (MST) with an anticipated award of 15 Jan 12 with an effective date of 1 Feb 12. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 541513. The small business size standard is $25M. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from Offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
