- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) intends to negotiate a sole-source procurement with Wikki Ltd of London, England. Wikki Ltd will provide services in the continued development of thrust-breakdown in waterjet propulsion. Wikki Ltd has provided technical support and services for the NSWCCD in a previous procurement. Wikki has the knowledge and skills in Naval applications relating to computational fluid dynamics, sliding mesh algorithm, and OpenFOAM libraries. The proposed contract action is for non-commercial services for which the Government intends to solicit with only one source using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. A firm fixed-price purchase order is anticipated. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
