- The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, VISN 6 Network Contracting Activity (NCA) is conducting market research through this sources sought notice to seek sources for name brand or equal to Fresenius Continuous Autotransfusion System Plus (CATS). The Fresenius CATS is a continuous transfusion device for autologous blood transfusion with continuous flow for intra and post-OP autotransfusion during and after surgery. The machine provides a product of 65-69% Hematocrit and does not use bowl or holding tank technology. The NAICS code is 339112 and the Classification code is 6515. All information is to be submitted at no cost or obligation to the Government. This is a sources sought notice only. This is not a solicitation and does not obligate the Government to issue a solicitation. The information submitted will be reviewed by the Government technical representatives for considering future requirements. Responses to this notice should include the following: name and address of company, business size, and any other pertinent information which demonstrates firm's ability to meet the above requirement.
