Description
This notice by the Government is an intent to solicit, negotiate and award a sole source Blanket Purchase Agreement to Mobile Instrument's, 333 Water Avenue, Bellefontaine, OH 43311. Requirement will meet Hospital Surgical Requirements prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12 Commercial Items, and FAR Part 13 which is Simplified Acquisition Procedures for surgical purposes. Womack Army Medical Center has the requirement for surgical medical supplies for surgical procedures and other equipment on an as needed basis. Requirements will include Sterile Wands PN 9400-00, Reusable Cable with Clips PN 9400-04 and 05, and Alligator Clips Adaptors, PN 9400-05. Estimated items and quantities of Implants, and instruments distributed by the contractor for the priority of surgical requirements. All Implants are considered Doctors choice of equipment therefore no competition exists. The period of performance for the base year effective 15 April 2011 - 14 April 2012, with four option years. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responses must be received by 15 April 2011 @ 0800 EST. To be eligible to receive an agreement, interested parties must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR), and have their Online Registration and Certification Approval (ORCA) prior to the quoting on the project.
