- Sample solicitation - to give vendors an example of what the full solicitation will look like, not just solicitation specific specifications. VIPR I-BPA Potable Water Trucks, Gray Water Trucks, and Trailer Mounted Handwashing Stations The Forest Service is requesting industry input on a draft solicitation for potable water trucks, gray water trucks, and trailer-mounted handwashing stations in support of fire suppression and all-hazard incidents. When finalized, a standard solicitation will be issued on a Regional basis throughout the United States. Comments must be provided via electronic mail to vrdpist@fs.fed.us no later than close of business April 11, 2011. Telephone inquiries/comments will not be accepted. This draft is being issued for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a formal solicitation for the receipt of offers. All information contained in the draft solicitation is preliminary, subject to modification, and is in no way binding on the government. The solicitation posted here is an abbreviated version of the draft solicitation.
