- This is a BRAND NAME OR EQUAL COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial supplies prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the test program for commercial items found at FAR 13.5, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. The manufacturer of these parts is CMC Rescue Equipment located in Santa Barbara, CA. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. This combined synopsis/solicitation SHALL be posted on both FEDBIZOPPS and NECO (http://www.neco.navy.mil/). The RFQ number is N00604-11-T-0395. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-47 and DFARS Change Notice 20110304. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The NAICS code is 339113, with a Small Business Standard of 500, and an additional NAICS code of 624230with a Small Business Standard of $7.0 million. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Regional Contracting Department requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing: CLIN 0001, SCOTT SCBA (Self Contained Breathing Apparatus). Cylinders (50) Cylinders, SCBA, SCOTT, CARBON-FIBOR, 4500PSI, 45 MINUTE, WEIGHT 15.2 LBS, CGA (Compressed Gas Association) Connection HP Hose, for use with SCOTT Air-Pak 75 SCBA. Delivery to: Federal Fire Department, 650 Center Drive, Bldg 284, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, 96860-4100. Requested delivery date of April 18, 2011 by 4:00 PM HAWAII STANDARD TIME. Responsibility and Inspection: unless otherwise specified in the order, the supplier is responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements and quality control.
