- This is a Sole Source announcement. No hard copy request for quote will be prepared or made available for distribution. The Government intends to award on a firm fixed price contract to Hamilton Sundstrand Space Systems, 1 Hamilton Road, Windsor Locks, CT. 06096-1000, to provide technical support for an evaluation of the malfunctioning components to restore the operation of the Loader/Re-programmer, power supply component of the system, to be awarded in accordance with Simplified Acquisition FAR Part 13. The porposed contract actin is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Technical data and specifications required to perform those tasks are not commercially available. Responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quote. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within five days after date of piblication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government no to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received willnormally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
