- Description
- The US Army ACC-WRN has a requirement for the following commercial item(s) to support the Security Forces of Iraq and Afghanistan and other countries: 10,000 Liter Water Tanker Truck and 12,000 Liter Fuel Tanker Truck. In addition to the Water and Fuel Tanker Trucks, supporting Spare Parts, COTS Operator Manuals, COTS Supplemental Manuals, Translation Costs of Operator and Supplemental Manuals from English to Arabic and Dari, and Dealer Support within Afghanistan & Iraq will also be required. This requirement will be solicited as a firm, fixed price 3-Year Requirements Contract with 2-Option years under Solicitation W56HZV-11-R-G-208. The projected total quantity including the option is for 395 Water Tanker Trucks and 375 Fuel Tanker Trucks (base quantity of 237 Water Tanker Trucks and 225 Fuel Tanker Trucks and an option quantity of 158 Water Tanker Trucks and 150 Fuel Tanker Trucks). The vehicle(s) shall be provided with a diesel engine capable of operating normally on ultra high sulfur content diesel fuel, have an automatic transmission, and be tagged with a removable active RFID data tag. This full and open competition solicitation will be issued on or about 30 March 2011, and responses will be due 30 calendar days thereafter.
