- Description
- The Optical Technology Div. (OTD) at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has a requirement to acquire technical and scientific support of multiple OTD Facilities. The specific tasks pursuant to this effort are described in the Statement of Work included in the solicitation. It is anticipated that the solicitation for this work will be issued on or about Apr. 22, 2011, using FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. The Government anticipates the award of an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract resulting in labor hour task orders on or about Aug. 26, 2011 with a 12-mo. performance period and four 1-yr. option periods. The competitive solicitation, all amendments, and any questions and answers related to this procurement will be made available via the internet at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The solicitation will only be available via the internet at the above website. Potential offerors are responsible for accessing the website. Interested parties must respond to the solicitation in order to be considered for award of any resultant contract. There is no written solicitation document available, telephone requests will not be honored, and a bidders list will not be maintained. Potential offerors are requested to direct all questions via e-mail to randy.schroyer@nist.gov. To be eligible for award, offerors MUST be registered with the Central Contractor Registry: www.ccr.gov and have completed its representations and certifications found at http://orca.bpn.gov THIS REQUIREMENT IS SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES ONLY. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 561712, and the size standard is 500 employees.
