- The Joint Base Myer/Henderson Hall, Department of Public Works, Ft Myer, VA has as a requirement for Ground Maintenance Services. This requirement is being set aside as a Hubzone Small Business Set-Aside competitive procurement. The award will be a Firm Fixed Price contract. The FSC Code is S208 and the NAICS Code is 561730. The solicitation is available on-line or by contacting Ms. Sherry L. Carner on 703-696-7105 or via email at sherry.carner@us.army.mil to receive an emailed copy of the solicitation. A MANDATORY pre-proposal conference and site visit is scheduled for Tuesday, 22, Mar 2011 at 09:00 A.M. Eastern Standard Time (EST). Please allow enough time to be searched at the Gate. Directions to Building 205: If entering from the Hatfield Gate take Carpenter Road to the stop sign, make a left onto McNair Road. Follow McNair Road all the way across to Stop sign at Lee Avenue. Make a left onto Lee Avenue to the stop sign. Cross Jackson Avenue and enter Custer Road. Follow Custer Road around past the pool and two buildings on your left. Once you pass the second building make left and follow it down around to the Stop sign. Make a right onto Bloxon Street and come to the front of Building 205. Parking is available across from the front of building 205. If entering Ft Myer from the Wright Gate, continue up the hill and across Jackson Avenue to the Stop sign. Make a right onto Custer Road. Follow it around past the pool and two buildings on your left. Once you pass the second building make left and follow it down around to the Stop sign. Make a right onto Bloxon Street and come to the front of Building 205. Parking is available across from the front of Building 205. Enter the building through the main entrance and proceed to the elevator. Take elevator to the second floor. Go right off the elevator to conference room straight ahead to sign in. It is anticipated that the conference and site visit will last approximately one to two hours. All interested firms may attend, with a limit of two attendees per firm. Please submit, in writing, the names of attendees to Sherry Carner at sherry.carner@us.army.mil, by 12 noon EST on 18 Mar 2011. Indicate whether or not proposed attendees are US Citizens. Questions will not be answered during the site visit. All questions shall be submitted to the Contracting Office in writing via email. There will be only one site visit. Make-up dates will not be provided. All offerors must be Central Contracting Registered (CCR) to participate in this requirement. All proposals must be submitted in accordance with solicitation instructions to be considered for this procurement. All responsible sources may submit an offer, however, only proposals meeting the Army's requirements will be considered for award.
