- RECOVERY - THIS ACTION IS FUNDED BY THE AMERICAN RECOVERY AND REINVESTMENT ACT (ARRA). THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. The Federal Transit Administration intends to award a sole source contract to an 8(a) firm (Hanks, Hanks & Associates, LLC) for professional acquisition support services. Specifically, the contractor shall provide ARRA acquisition support services to the Federal Transit Administration's (FTA) Office of Civil Rights department. The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) contains specific acquisition requirements that must be met when using funds appropriate by the Act. Acquisitions must comply with the FAR.
