- Description
- The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Energy intends to issue solicitation SP0600-11-R-0210 on or about March 25, 2011. This solicitation is for the procurement of commercial petroleum fuel products to provide uninterrupted support to military and federal civilian locations in Alaska. The majority of this procurement will be unrestricted with full and open competition and a portion will be set aside for small business. Contracts resulting from this solicitation will be Requirements-Type, Fixed Price with Economic Price Adjustment contracts for a three (3) year period. The ordering period is from October 1, 2011 through September 30, 2014. Current contracts established in October 2008 will expire September 30, 2011. The Purchase Program number is 3.9. Alaska Posts, Camps, and Stations (PC&S) supports the military services with ground and jet fuels which are delivered directly by the vendor to the customer via Tank Truck (TT), Tank Wagon (TW), Air Tanker, Air Freight, Pipeline or Barge.
