- Sources Sought: This is a sources sought announcement only. This is not a solicitation announcement. The purpose of this announcement is to gain knowledge of current market capabilities in relation to NAICS Code 517210, Wireless Telecommunications Supplier. The Center of Excellence for Mental Health located on the campus of VAMC Canandaigua has a requirement for a contractor to provide a Texting Dashboard service that will allow Veterans and family members in crisis to send text messages to employees of the VA National Suicide Prevention Hotline. The service provided by the contractor must be capable of providing a dashboard type interface that allows employees to carry on multiple texting sessions. The service must have the ability to trigger an immediate automated response based on keywords in the original message received from the texter. The VA National Suicide Prevention Hotline employee would then respond back to the texter via the dashboard interface which would be accessible on their desktop workstation. Responses to this sources sought must include the following information. 1. General information of your company name, address, contact person name, phone number, fax number, email address(s) and DUNS number and company website if available. 2. Type of business such as 8(a), small business, Hub Zone small business, Small Disadvantaged Business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned small business or Veteran owned small business. Responses to this market survey should be in writing and shall be faxed or emailed to the attention of Les Lecceardone, Contract Specialist at fax number 585-393-7883 or e-mail Les.Lecceardone@va.gov. No telephone responses will be accepted. Responses must be received no later than 3:00 pm March 15, 2011. No solicitation document is available at this time; this notice is to acquire information only. Vendors interested in providing an offer will have to respond to a separate solicitation announcement that shall be published separately.
