- CORRECTION ON RESPONSE DATE The VA National Acquisition Center intends to issue Request for Proposal (RFP) VA-797-11-RP-0030 under the competitive negotiated procedures for Isosorbide Mononitrate. Please see the item and estimated annual usage listed below. The estimated annual usage includes Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Department of Defense (DOD), Indian Health Services (IHS), Federal Healthcare Center (FHCC), and Bureau of Prisons (BOP). The contract period will be for the base year and four option years. The contract item will be distributed through VA ™s and DOD ™s respective Pharmaceutical Prime Vendors. Award will be made in the aggregate for line items 1A, 1B, and 1C for the base year and two option years. To be considered for award, offerors are required to submit a proposal for line items 1A, 1B, and 1C. Otherwise, proposals will be rejected and will receive no further consideration Products offered must be FDA compliant. Offerors must state the exact (name that appears on label) by which the drug will be supplied and products proposed must have unique 11-digit NDC number. Capsules must be compatible with automated dispensing units (Baxter ATC Canister, Optifil, etc). If the offeror is not a manufacturer, a signed agreement between the offeror and the manufacturer must be submitted with the offer. Solicitation VA-797-11-RP-0030 will be electronically issued in commercial item format in accordance with FAR Part 12 on or about March 22, 2010 with an estimated closing date of April 22, 2011. The NAICS code for this procurement is 325412. Any future amendments and other miscellaneous documents will be available electronically for download at the following URL: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. No paper copies of the solicitation will be available, and no telephone request for paper copies of the solicitation will be accepted.
