- VISN 1 Contracting Activity for Veterans Affairs Medical Centers is pre-soliciting qualified Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses to provide sterilized surgical custom packs for the Veterans Affairs Medical Centers for the Surgical Department. A complete list of current custom packs is provided as an attachment to the pre-solicitation. This solicitation is being set aside per FAR 6.206. The NAICS code for this procurement is 423450 with a size standard of 100 employees. The magnitude of this contract is estimated between $100,000 and $850,000; over the life of the contract. Base year plus four option periods are expected to be inclusive in the solicitation. On or around April 1, 2011 is an estimated award date, due to the urgent need. Offerors shall be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration website at www.ccr.gov and www.vetbiz.gov; as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, in order to be eligible to receive a contract under this acquisition. The solicitation is expected to be posted on or about March 14, 2011. No hard copies will be provided.
