- Notice of intent to issue a sole source Contract, this is not a request for competitive proposals. The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity, Fort Detrick, MD anticipates awarding a Firm Fixed Price contract for the Animal Management System Maintenance with Lovelace Biomedical & Environmental Research, Albuquerque, NM. This requirement is for the Walter Army Institute of Research, Department of Veterinary Medicine, Silver Spring, MD. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. All proposals (with capability statements) received within 15 days of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government; however, a determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The solicitation number, for reference W81XWH-11-T-0283. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
