- THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. It is out intent to award this requirement on a sole source basis to the MITRE Corporation, 7515 Colshire Drive, Mclean, VA 22102, as a task order under contract TIRNO-99-D-00005. The objective of this requirement is to support the Office of the National Coordinator (ONC) with strategic, technical, program, and project management support and analysis related to privacy and security of health information exchange as necessary to support the progress of several key ONC initiatives. To meet these objectives, the contractor will support the following task areas: • Providing Task Management and Quality Control of the Work Program • Providing a Project Management Work Plan and Progress reports • Facilitating a communications and reporting to senior ONC management and the federal advisory committees and associated workgroups • Identifying Privacy and Security Requirements and Needs for Health IT ecosystem • Analyzing and Developing Technical and Policy Guidance including • Potential privacy and security implications of the relationship between covered entities and business associates, particularly in the changing environment required by HITECH (Sections 13401 & 13404) • Potential Privacy and Security Implications of Business Models • Providing Strategic, Technical, Program and Project Management Support and Analysis • Privacy, security and governance issues • Complex issues surrounding privacy and security of health information • Evaluating privacy and security issues that are identified • Providing Advisory and Technical Support
