- Defense-to-State Transition Support Services: The contractor will assist the Department of State with developing and implementing plans to facilitate the effective and efficient transition of responsibilities in Iraq from the Department of Defense to the Department of State. This work will include ongoing planning, project and cost tracking, critical path analysis, coordination with and collection of data from stakeholders, organization of meetings and management of minutes, tracking of assigned tasks, and any other tasks or services mutually agreed upon between the State Department and the contractor. To track and coordinate these efforts, the contractor will provide a management information and project management system to supplement the State Department's capabilities. Scope includes but is not limited to: acquisition and related support; transition program management; property accountability; Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) sustainment; civil engineering support; and contractor program management.
