- PFPA Uniform descriptions and link to information regarding items. Sources Sought Synopsis: This is a sources sought notification. This RFI is being issued for market research purposes ONLY and shall not be construed as a Request for Proposal (RFP) or as an obligation on the part of the requestor to acquire any products or services. The requestor does not intend to pay for the information requested herein. Responses to this RFI will not be returned. Respondents will not be notified of the result of the review. Not responding to this sources sought does not preclude participation in any future and potential solicitation. The intent of this notice is to identify potential Small Business firms capable of providing work uniforms for Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA) staff within the National Capital Region to include the Pentagon Reservation, outposts, and other facilities. The NAICS code for this proposed competitive procurement is 315211- Men's and Boys' Cut and Sew Apparel Contractors and 315212- Women's, Girls', and Infants' Cut and Sew Apparel Contractors. Washington Headquarters Services Acquisition Directorate (WHS AD) intends to gather market research to determine the viability of acquiring all items in this requirement from a single offeror. See attached PFPA Uniforms spreadsheet for more information about the requirements of the products requested. All items shall be brand name or equivalent. Proposed brand name equivalent items must contain all salient characteristics of the brand name product. If brand name or equivalent items are available under GSA schedule, GSA schedule information including GSA contract number should be provided with the response to this request for information. The anticipated contract will be awarded as a firm-fixed price (FFP) contract. Responses to this request for information regarding this requirement shall be in the form of a capability statement and must clearly demonstrate: 1. Availability of all items from a single source. 2. All required items are brand name or equivalent. 3. If brand name equivalent products are included in capability statement, the capability statement must clearly demonstrate that the brand name equivalent item(s) meet all salient characteristics of the brand name product. 4. Availability of items on a GSA schedule and the schedule number and model number(s). 5. All items are manufactured in the United States. 6. Describe the socioeconomic status of the company providing the capability statement. The information must be complete and sufficiently detailed to allow WHS AD team to determine the firm's qualifications to satisfy the requirement. Responses should be returned via email as attachment. Please provide on 8 ½ by 11-inch standard paper and limit number of pages to 5 (including all attachments). Interested parties shall submit responses via email in Microsoft Word format to Robert Sherbondy, Contract Specialist, at robert.sherbondy@whs.mil. Receipt of information shall be received no later than close of business 10 calendar days from posting.
