- Western Area Power Administration has a requirement for a contractorto provideall labor, materials, equipment, transportation and other resources tocompletethis project.The principal components of the work involve expanding the yard of a highvoltage electrical substation, demolition of existing concrete foundations, constructing new concrete foundations, substation grounding, cable trench,conduit, fencing, seeding and erosion control and other additional items as described on the drawings and specifications. The work is located inBurleighCounty, North Dakota. This solicitation is 100% Set-Aside for SmallBusinessfirms. The estimated construction magnitude of this project is between$500,000 and $1,000,000. The NAICS code is 237130. All work is to becompleted within 180 calendar days from issuance of the Notice to Proceed.Apre bid site visit will not be held. All responsible business concernsmaysubmit a bid which shall be considered by this Agency. Any non-U.S.(ForeignNational) visiting or working at any Western Area Power Administrationfacilitymust receive prior written approval from the appropriate Western SecurityManager. The solicitation, specifications and drawings, and any subsequentamendmentswill only be available in electronic format, downloadable from theinternet.No CD-ROMs or hardcopy documents will be distributed.
