- Description
- The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) intends to award a sole source purchase order to Vocus Inc., for the renewal of online subscription service to provide a template for congressional contacts. The online service is a valuable resource in many ways, including but not limited to: preparing high-ranking FHWA officials as Hill hearing witnesses; providing critical background information for meetings of high-ranking FHWA officials with members of Congress; and providing a context for responses to Hill inquiries, including formal letters written to and from FHWA officials. All responsible sources may submit a response identifying their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. The proposed action is for services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This is a Simplified Acquisition and the total estimated value is not to exceed $16,500; the anticipated award date is March 25, 2011.
