- Description
- This is a notice of intent to award a fixed-price sole source purchase order to Chicago Soft LTD. Chicago Soft is the only provider of maintenance for the MVS/Quick Reference software. This is proprietary Original Equipment Manufacture (OEM) system that supports specific EIT hardware and software products. The compatibility with existing hardware/software systems' configuration is limited. The period of performance is 04/01/2011 through 03/32/2012. This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 13.501. The anticipated award date is 14 March 2011. Please note that this is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested organizations may submit their capability statements and qualifications for the provision of this requirement. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct future competitive procurements. This is a Notice of Intent, not a solicitation. No solicitation will be issued for this sole source requirement and no other information will be provided. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
