- Description
- The following questions were posed during the site visits on March 1, 2011, or March 7, 2011. 1. In reference to Section 1.2 Scope of Work How to register the boiler with the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors? The manufacturer registers the boilers. The boiler must be ASME certified to be be registered and receive the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors Registration Number which is identified on the boiler. Vendors should ensure that boiler procured has been registered by the manufacturer. 2. Will heating coil be required? The heating coil will be supplied by requestor 3. Will existing connector be usuable? You may use existing connectors; However, Contractor must supply new gaskets/seals. 4. Will contractor be able to move boiler to truck on skids? The boiler is located on the same floor as the receiving dock and can be taken directly down hallway to loading dock.
