Description
JETS-TLDS Industry Days Conference: Product Manager Soldier Precision Targeting Devices (PM SPTD) will conduct a Joint Effects Targeting System (JETS)-Target Locator Designation System (TLDS) Industry Days Conference on 30 and 31 March 2011. The conference will be held at the Holiday Inn Express, 6401 Brandon Avenue, Springfield, VA 22150, Phone: 703-644-5555, from 10 am to 6 pm each day (lunch 12:30/1:30 pm). The focus of the JETS-TLDS Industry Days Conference is to provide an update on the latest JETS TLDS planning, a Q&A discussion on the draft JETS-TLDS Draft Performance Specification, and to allow a period for briefings from attending companies on their capabilities to support JETS-TLDS. During the 30 March 2011 session, the PM SPTD JETS TLDS program office will present an overview of the program approach, schedule, changes to the performance specification, and hold the Q&A session. Following the Government's presentations and the Q&A session, companies will be afforded the opportunity to provide open session presentations on their capabilities to support the JETS TLDS program. Any remaining time during the two day sessions will then be allocated to closed one-on-one sessions between the Government and individual companies. Companies are asked to limit presentations to 30 minutes or less. Attendance is limited to U.S. Department of Defense employees and U.S. Department of Defense contractors, with exceptions as approved by PM SPTD. Questions are requested to be provided prior to the conference by email to the Government POCs or, if necessary, at the conference to the Government with a follow-up copy within one week of the conference by email to the Government POCs. The questions and Government answers, except for those that would reveal proprietary information presented in closed session, will be provided by email to the attending conference company points of contact within 30 days after the conference. All company information briefed during the conference will be provided to the Government prior to the conference. Open session briefings will be provided to all conference attendees. Those companies interested in attending the conference should submit an "Attend JETS-TLDS Conference" email to paul.woodman@us.army.mil, charles.devens.moore@us.army.mil, and anthony.dodson2@us.army.mil not later than 23 March 2011. Please consolidate all attendees from your company on one list and indicate if you desire a period to brief your company capabilities, and if so, in open session or closed session. If you are not a U.S. Department of Defense employees or U.S. Department of Defense contractor, indicate that you are requesting an exception to the attendance criteria. Priority will be given to open session presentations. Time may be limited based on number of requests to present. Number of attendees per company may be limited based on available space. A confirmation of registration for the conference and any restriction on the number of attendees will be provided by email by 24 March.
