Mandatory Language: Note: Item Description: Power Supply.Dimensions: 12.62 In Long, 4.88 In Wide, 7.62 In High. Item Function:Electrical Power Supply, supplies emergency backup power for the GINSsystem. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors orpotential offerors during the proposal development phase of thisacquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish theauthority of the Program Director or Contracting Officer, but tocommunicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, andrecommendations to the appropriate Government Personnel. Whenrequested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as tosource of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in theevaluation of proposal or in the source selection process. Interestedparties are invited to call the Ombudsman at (405) 734-8253. DO NOTCALL THIS NUMBER FOR SOLICITATION REQUESTS. Written procedure will beused for this solicitation. No telephone requests. Note 26: Based uponmarket research, the Government is not using the policies contained inPart 12, Acquisition of commercial items, in its solicitation for thedescribed supplies or services. However, interested persons mayidentify to the contracting officer their interest and capability tosatisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15days of this notice. Note 13: The proposed contract is restricted todomestic sources under the authority of FAR 6.302-3. Accordingly,foreign sources, except Canadian sources, are not eligible for award. IAW 5.207(C)(14) The intended source for this requirement is ACMEElectrical Corporation. The drawing for this item is a sourcecontrolled drawing in which the part must be acquired from amanufacturing source specified on the source control or selected itemdrawing, there do not appear to be any immediate actions which could betaken to develop future competition. Currently ACME ElectricalCorporation is the only known source that can satisfy the Government'srequirement.
